Counselling
(Stage 1)
People
are often left feeling angry, helpless and
isolated due to the situations or
circumstances such as bereavement, marital
stress or illness, making our lives
uncomfortable or seemingly intolerable and they
may feel unable to talk to family or friends
about their problems. Their social circle can
become small or non-existent. They can feel
constantly tired and unable to function properly
in the home or at work. Relationships with
other family members, friends and work
colleagues can become strained or break down.
A
persons whole existence can feel meaningless.
(Stage 2)
The
aim of Counselling is to enable you to feel more
in control of your life again, to better
understand how and why you think and behave the
way you do and to help you to reflect on the
experiences and become self aware.
Our
aim is to work with you to understand and
recognise the cause of your problem and to help
you learn how to overcome it. No one learns how
to cope with a problem by trying to ignore it or
pretending it doesn’t exist. It will not go away
on its own. So, our approach involves helping
you to recognise the cause of your problem and
overcoming it.
(Stage 3)
We
provide
a save and confidential environment in which you
are able to express your feelings, gaining a
clearer understanding of what is happening to
you. Understanding yourself will enable you to
improve your quality of life and thus help you move on.
No matter what your circumstances or your walk
of life, we provide a non-judgemental, Caring,
Safe,
Counselling Service for all.
